“ I visited this back in february before the lock down with some visiting american friends that wanted to come here, although it was my first time despite living and working in the area for a long time. The place was in a good central location on a corner of a street and it was easy to find the location was eay to navigate to by way of google maps. I met my friends who had already ordered and I came in slightly later and the waiting staff were very complementary and understanding of my situation. In some places there is an issue of late coming in, but they were fine with it. The ambiance of the restaurant was very accommodation there was little to no music which it made the fact i could converse with my friends very well. I knew what i wanted wanted and that was beef without noodles or rice, beef chow mein on its own. This customisation of a recipe sometimes in some restaurants and in some places is sometimes unable to be done, but they once again were very accomodating. This service was really good. The food was rather prompt, and very hot which is a good thing meaning that it is freshly cooked. There was ample amounts of beef in my dish and I ordered a green tea, which was bottled, I thought it would have been made fresh, which for me personally is not that big a deal. The memorabilia and indoor decor really added to the whole atmosphere and made the entire experience memorable, will definitely visit again. ”
“ Best hand made dim sum in London. I can feel dim sum is hand made. Different that other restaurant in China town. ”
“ The other reviews for this restaurant isn't very reflective of this place. The food is actually good and authentic and given most Chinese restaurants have terrible service this place was amazing in comparison. We got free dessert and some gypsies walked in trying to steal people's phones and the waitresses ran to all the tables to usher them away! Never seen a more interesting restaurnt! The staff also had great English and gave us a discount if we paid with cash. Would definitely come back! ”
“ Quite tasty and great service! The server are heart-warming and very hardworking, she even reminds me of my grandma. I like the dishes, ordered pidan&pork congee and steamed small ribs, it taste brilliant! and I feel the same way, it's hand made, which is a great added-point to cantonese food which specialised in freshness and handmade. ”
“ Hot pot was very good. The spicy soup base has a good flavour and not too spicy. Food quality was good. ”
“ AMAZING FOOD ! The suimai are incredible , the sizzling beef fillet Is so soft, all of the food was cooked to perfection and is one of the best ever Chinese restaurant I've ever been to ! You will be glad you chose this place . ”
“ I stayed in hotel next door, and had dinner here for 3 times. As a chinese restuarant in London, its standard of food is good. Of course, we can not use Hong Kong standard to compare and evaluate it. ”
“ Have ordered delivery multiple times now, each time has been fantastic. Very friendly and helpful when I spoke to them on the phone. Menu is great. Especially love the bittergourd, and the marinated tofu. I am a fan! ”
